CCR mammals include deer, coyotes, pigs, ocelots, raccoons, javelinas, rodents, rabbits and hares, wild cats, skunks, weasels and various exotic mammals.

CCR insects butterflies, moths, caterpillars, bees, wasps and kin, dragonflies and damselflies, beetles, flies, grasshoppers, walking sticks, mantids and crickets. The CCR arachnids include spiders, ticks, scorpions and mites.

CCR reptiles include venomous and non-venomous snakes, lizards, geckos and skinks. The CCR amphibians include turtles, tortoises, frogs and toads.

CCR pond critters include Inland Silverside , Gulf Killifish, Inland Silverside, and alligators.

There is a large variety of plant life found on CCR’s uplands, lowlands, grasslands, wetlands, and salt flats.
