General Information

Cactus Creek Ranch is a neighbor to the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge. The Ranch enjoys the same terrain, wet and dry-land environment as well as all the same plant and animal life. Many of the animals ignore the boundaries and travel unimpeded across the Ranch and Refuge lands.

Cactus Creek Ranch supports Refuge research projects including the placement and maintenance of game cameras so that the creatures can be photographed non-intrusively in their natural habitat.
